Kuznetsov explains why he hasn’t scored since moving from Washington to Carolina

Russian Carolina Hurricanes forward Evgeny Kuznetsov talked about his inability to act effectively after moving to a new team. His words are quoted Hockey News.

“I want to get back to my game, passing, dribbling, working hard and doing the right things. The glasses will come. I’m in a situation where winning means more to me… That’s what I’m focused on. These are much more than my glasses,” Kuznetsov said.

On March 2, the National Hockey League’s official website reported that Kuznetsov had completed the Player Assistance Program. He works with hockey players who are experiencing psychological problems and drug and alcohol addiction.

On March 8, the Carolina Hurricanes announced the transfer of Kuznetsov as a result of a trade with the capital. The Russian player played two matches with the new team.

Kuznetsov has been playing for the Capitals since 2014, and before that he played only for Traktor Chelyabinsk. This NHL season, the Russian took part in 43 team matches, scoring six goals and 11 assists.
