International Tennis Federation (ITF) official website reportedHe decided to allow Russian and Belarusian tennis players to compete under neutral status at the Olympic Games in Paris. Athletes will have the opportunity to compete in both singles and doubles.

Russians and Belarusians will be able to compete in the 2024 Olympics if they comply with the neutral athlete principles previously formulated by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The Paris Olympic Games will start at the end of July 2024.

At the end of February 2022, the IOC issued a call to international sports federations and recommended that Russian and Belarusian athletes not be allowed to participate in any competitions.

At the meeting of the IOC Executive Committee on March 28, it was proposed to allow the Russians to maintain neutral status if their athletes do not take an active part in supporting military operations.

Russian tennis players missed Wimbledon 2022 and were brought back for the 2023 tournament.
