Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Umar Nurmagomedov defeated Kazakhstan representative Bekzat Almakhan in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Fight Nights 238 tournament held in Las Vegas (USA, Nevada).

The cousin of former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov currently has 17 wins in 17 fights. The 28-year-old fighter has been competing in the UFC since 2021, winning all five fights. Umar had his previous fight in the winter of 2023 and knocked out Brazil’s Raoni Barcelos in the first round. Nurmagomedov was later injured and underwent surgery.
Almahan has 11 wins and 2 losses. He became the champion of the Kazakh promotion Octagon Promotions.
