“I think everyone understood the situation we were in this season. Everyone was calm. I think we changed our mentality in the second period,” Ovechkin said.

This season, 38-year-old Ovechkin played in 56 matches and scored 17 goals and made 27 assists in these matches. Ovechkin now has 839 goals, the difference is 55 goals.
