Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) Eastern Conference play-off quarter-final pairings have been announced.

In the first round of the play-offs, Magnitogorsk “Metallurg” will play against Khabarovsk “Amur”, Omsk “Avangard” will compete with Tolyatti “Lada” to advance to the next round, Ufa “Salavat Yulaev” will play against Chelyabinsk “Traktor” and Kazan “Ak Bars will fight against Ekaterinburg Avtomobilist in the next round.

The 2024 Gagarin Cup play-offs begin on February 29. The current winner of the Gagarin Cup is CSKA. On the 100th anniversary of its establishment on April 29, 2023, the Ordu team won the seventh match of the final series against Ak Bars Kazan and won the cup.

For the first time in KHL history, the 2024 playoffs will use a pass system; After the first round, each team playing in the Western Conference will take on a team from the Eastern Conference.
