Russian swimmer Yulia Efimova posted on Instagram (the owner of the Meta company is known as an extremist and is banned in Russia) a series of photos on the ocean shore in the Hawaiian Islands.

The 31-year-old athlete poses in short green shorts and a T-shirt.

Efimova won three Olympic medals. She took bronze (200m breaststroke) in 2012 and four years later won two silver medals (100m and 200m breaststroke). The swimmer also has six gold medals at the World Championships and seven awards of the same value at the European Championships.

Efimova holds the record for world championship medals among all domestic (Soviet and Russian) swimmers – 17 (six gold, seven silver, four bronze). In terms of the total number of awards in individual distances, she is among the top 10 in the history of the world championships among all swimmers.

The International Swimming Federation (FINA) banned Russian and Belarusian swimmers from competing under its auspices, even under a neutral flag, in March 2022.
