Dynamo Moscow won the Continental Cup, awarded to the winner of the regular season of the Continental Hockey League (KHL), for the second time.
This became possible thanks to the victory of Kunlun Red Star over SKA (3:0) in the nominal away match in the KHL regular season. St. The St. Petersburg team was the only club that had a chance to catch Dynamo in the KHL summary table.

Dynamo won the Continental Cup for the second time in their history. The Muscovites won the KHL regular championship for the first time in the 2013/14 season. Dynamo also won the Gagarin Cup twice.
