In the first match of the Champions League 1/8 final, Italian Napoli faced Spanish Barcelona at home. The match played at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Naples ended in a 1-1 draw.

In the 60th minute, visiting forward Robert Lewandowski received Pedri’s pass in the penalty area, moved a little closer to the center and fired a low shot under the defense and into the near corner. In the 75th minute, Napoli’s forward Victor Osimhen received the pass with his back in the penalty area, turned defender Inigo Martinez and rolled the ball towards the far bottom corner.

The rematch will be played on March 12. The teams’ starting whistle will blow at 23:00 Moscow time.

In the Spanish Championship, Barcelona ranked third in the rankings with 54 points after 25 weeks. Xavi’s team is two points behind second-place Girona and six points behind Real Madrid.

Napoli ranked ninth in the Italian Championship with 36 points after 24 weeks. Napoli and Barcelona are currently champions of their countries.
