Tampa Bay Lightning’s Russian forward Nikita Kucherov scored his 90th point of the regular season in the National Hockey League (NHL) in the match against the Boston Bruins.
The hockey player scored a goal by throwing the puck in the second minute of the second period.
Thus, the Russian forward extended his scoring streak to eight matches. Kucherov played a total of 53 games in the NHL this season and recorded 34 goals and 56 assists.
Kucherov continues to lead the top scorers list with 90 points. Colorado forward Nathan MacKinnon remains in second place. The 28-year-old Canadian player was not effective in the match against Florida (0:4). Czech Boston Bruins forward David Pastrnak rounded out the top three.
Last season, in the NHL regular season, Kucherov finished fourth (30+82) behind Pastrnak (113 points), Leon Draisaitl (129 points) and Connor McDavid (153 points).
