Glushakov will not continue his career in Rostov

Former Russian national team midfielder Denis Glushakov left Rostov after a joint training camp with the team. This was reported by the official Team Telegram channel.

On January 11, 2024, Glushakov announced that he would attend the winter training camp with Rostov. The 37-year-old football player is a native of the city of Millerovo (Rostov region).

The midfielder’s last club was Spartak Kostroma, which plays in the Second League. The contract was terminated by mutual agreement of the parties in January 2024.

The midfielder played for Spartak Moscow from 2013 to 2019. He won the Russian Premier League (RPL) with the red and white team in the 2016/17 season.

After leaving Spartak, the midfielder signed a contract with Akhmat Grozny and in July 2020 moved to Khimki, near Moscow, where he played for a season and a half.

Glushakov has 57 matches as a member of the Russian national team.
