When did you receive the OnlyFans (OF) offer?
This came to me at the best time, at the beginning of 2023. There were only two months left until I would fight for the WBA championship at the WiZink Center, Madrid’s most important stadium. I was facing a very tough challenge, I needed all the support possible to focus on this preparation and OF came knocking on my door.
What did you think when they contacted you?
I knew they sponsored big names in sports like Shakur Stevenson and others. When I heard that Jennifer Miranda and even Ilia Topuria had signed with them in Spain, I knew I had to be there too. It is an exorbitant economic injection compared to everything else.
How did it help you in your preparation process?
From covering the cost of supplements, food or a physical therapist, to being able to use hyperbaric chamber sessions to shorten recovery time, or covering travel and expenses for training in other cities and with great professionals. For example, for the first time in 17 years, I was able to take my entire team to the Canary Islands to train, so I could train with boxers of a similar quality to the boxers I would face. I couldn’t have accomplished all this without my or anyone else’s help. So, for example, I took advantage of the last evening at the Callao Cinemas in Madrid to ask everyone there who had the opportunity to do something for someone else, to help a child with a glimmer of hope in his eyes. buy something

Is it possible to make a living from boxing in Spain?
This is so hard. I think I’m the only person who can reach this standard of living thanks to boxing. And actually it’s not just because of the fights, it’s because of everything I’ve produced around this sport. My personal brand, my sponsors, my followers, my campaigns… It couldn’t be sustained only with the money they earned from fighting in Spain. And I did everything there was to do: I became the Spanish champion, I was on the national team, I took part in the Olympic Games, I fought in the United States…
Did you think that collaborating with OF would close doors for you?
Not at all. I knew this was my chance to lead my career again. I was already the first Spaniard to sign in the United States, at the Barclays Center etc. I was the first person to fight. And I wanted to be the first OnlyFans sponsor in Spain. I knew everyone would want this when it happened.

What content do you offer on your profile?
For example, I hired a videographer for my team and he comes to shoot videos that look like promotional clips of all my workouts. But I also share my car, my achievements, even my education.
Do you get criticism?
A lot, especially in the beginning… I remember the first fight I had dressed head to toe on my way to the official weigh-in on OnlyFans. Those photos appeared in all sports newspapers. Many criticized me because they did not understand. My profile didn’t fit many people’s predefined image of what that brand was. But more and more athletes are cooperating with OF. MotoGP, Formula 1, Rally, MMA, boxing… I’m trying to normalize it too. I go out with T-shirts whenever I can so people can get used to it, but they still turn around and look at you and say, “Isn’t this guy ashamed?” There are people who think.
