Former head coach of the Russian national football team Boris Ignatiev, in an interview with socialbites.ca, commented on the decision of Spartak Moscow’s striker Pavel Meleshin to go on loan to Dynamo Minsk, saying that the level of the Belarusian championship is lower than the Russian one. .

According to him, it is extremely important for young players to get playing time.

Even at Spartak it is not very nice to sit on the bench and watch someone else play and score goals. I do not want to offend Belarusian football, but its level is lower than Russia, there there are fewer competitive matches, but Meleshin will have the opportunity to get on the field,” said Ignatiev.

The agreement between the clubs is valid until the next winter transfer window and does not provide the right to purchase the transfer. At the same time, Spartak will be able to bring the player back on loan in the summer at its own initiative.

Meleshin is the pupil of red and white. He joined the team in 2010. In 2022, the striker made his debut for the main team of Spartak. He scored his first goal in the Russian Championship in the 14th round match against Khimki on October 23, 2022.
