It is stated that Egyptian and Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah may leave the English club and transfer to Saudi Arabia during the summer transfer window. This was reported by Athletic.
According to the publication, Al-Ittihad remains interested in the football player. The Saudi Arabian club was ready to pay approximately 234 million euros for Salah in the summer of 2023 and currently continues to be interested in the striker.
If the deal comes true under these conditions, the Egyptian’s transfer could be the most expensive transfer in world football history. Currently, the most expensive transfer is the transfer of Brazilian Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain. Later, this transfer from Barcelona cost the French club 222 million Euros.
Salah has been playing for Liverpool since 2017. As part of the team, he became champion of England in the 2019/20 season and won the FA Cup and Super Cup. The striker lifted the Champions League Cup above his head for the first time in the 2018/19 season.
Salah is also known for his performances at Roma, Fiorentina, Chelsea and Basel, Switzerland.
Formerly president of Napoli named Spalletti’s departure was his own fault.
