Real Madrid was the only former club of Portuguese football player Cristiano Ronaldo that did not celebrate his birthday.

On February 5, Ronaldo turned 39 years old. Sporting Lisbon, Manchester United and Turin’s Juventus published congratulatory messages on their social networks.

The striker played for Real from 2009 to 2017 and was the top scorer in the club’s history. As a member of the Madrid team, he won four Champions Leagues, two Spanish championships, the national cup and the Super Cup and the UEFA Super Cup. He also won the Club World Championship three times.

Ronaldo currently plays for Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nasr. He played in 25 team matches in all tournaments this season and scored 24 goals and 11 assists.

On January 19, Ronaldo received an award named after the legendary Diego Maradona. He won the award as the top scorer of the 2023 calendar year. The Portuguese scored 54 goals.

He was followed by PSG forward Kylian Mbappe and Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane, who scored 52 goals each.
