The Amsterdam Court of Appeal ruled that the Dutch striker of Moscow football club Spartak Quincy Promes should pay compensation to his cousin who was attacked during a family party in 2020. The publication reports that Voetbal International.

An Amsterdam court initially sentenced Promes to 18 months in prison for aggravated assault. Promes appealed this decision, but it was not accepted. The amount the player must pay as compensation has not yet been determined. The court will determine this at the next hearing.
Promes has been playing for Spartak since February 2021. This is his second time joining the team. He played for the red-whites between 2014 and 2018.
