Hockey manager and expert Alexey Dementyev believes that there are no longer any players left in Russian hockey who are as loyal to their club as CSKA goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev. His words are quoted legal betting.
“There is no club patriotism in Russian hockey at the moment. Teams are actively buying players, hockey players move from one team to another. There is currently no commitment to the clubs as there was before. In my opinion, such radical changes in this issue are connected with the immorality of the participants, we are talking about both hockey players and teams,” said Dementyev.
Now the final matches are held within the scope of the regular championship of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). The play-off round starts on February 29. CSKA, Lokomotiv, SKA, Moscow Dynamo, Spartak and Nizhny Novgorod Torpedo, Salavat Yulaev, Metallurg and Omsk Avangard have already participated.
