British boxer Tyson Fury insulted Ukrainian Alexander Usik and promised to knock him out. Fury’s words were quoted by journalist Michael Benson on social networks.
“I’m not retired, you bastard. I’ll knock you out,” Fury said.
Usyk and Fury were scheduled to meet in the Saudi capital Riyadh on February 17, 2024. On February 2, the Englishman suffered a cut above his eye during training, which caused the fight to be postponed. The new date of the fight is May 18, 2024. If the fight is postponed again, a fine of $ 10 million will be imposed on the person responsible for the postponement.
It was learned that the fight between Alexander Usik and Tyson Fury on March 2, 2023 was interrupted. The fight between these rivals was scheduled for April 2023 and then moved to December.
