Glory Kickboxing League terminates contract with Russian fighters

The promotion of professional kickboxing Glory removed all Russian fighters from further participation in tournaments under the auspices of the organization. This has been reported Web site organizations.

Contracts with athletes from Russia were unilaterally terminated.

The organization’s statement says that such a decision is connected with a special operation on the territory of Ukraine. The promotion has to do with travel arrangements, the blocking of payments, the refusal of fighters to fight with representatives of Russia, etc.

Russian Artem Vakhitov was the reigning light heavyweight champion of the promotion.

Glory chief Scott Rudmann stressed that after the end of the special operations Russian fighters will be taken back.
