The U.S. Team Athlete Commission was pleased with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) decision to disqualify Russian figure skater Kamila Valieva for four years. This was stated in a statement on the organization’s website.

This is a welcome step in the right direction for the anti-doping movement, but we still have a long way to go.
