The Dutch prosecutor’s office demanded that Spartak Moscow striker Quincy Promes be sentenced to nine years in prison in the drug trafficking case. The publication reports that ad.nl.

At the hearing held in Amsterdam on January 24, the prosecutor’s office demanded that the Dutch striker be found guilty and that the football player be given a real prison sentence.

Currently, Promes is in the UAE with Spartak, where the club is holding its first training camp in 2024.

Promes has been playing for Spartak since February 2021. This is his second time joining the team. He played for the red-whites between 2014-2018. The Dutch player became the Russian champion with the team in the 2016/17 season.

This season, Promes played in 17 matches in the Russian Premier League (RPL) and scored six goals and made six assists in these matches.
