Manchester City and Norway national team striker Erling Haaland posted on the social network Instagram (the owner of the Meta company is known as an extremist and is banned in Russia) a joint photo with the former Russian fighter of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Khabib Nurmagnomedov.
The football player commented on the photo: “It’s nice to meet a legend in Abu Dhabi.”

Immediately after the fight, he announced his retirement from his professional career, explaining that he had promised his mother that he would not fight without his father. After finishing his career, Nurmagomedov founded the Eagle FC promotion.
On October 7, 2018, Khabib defeated Irishman Conor McGregor at UFC 229. The fight ended in the fourth round after the Irishman submitted.
The athlete had 29 fights in mixed martial arts (MMA) and won each of them.
