Le Havre sporting director Mathieu Bodmer praised the team’s Russian midfielder Daler Kuzyaev’s performance for the French club. His words guide the way “Sports Express”.
“How does the club evaluate Kuzyaev’s performance? We are happy to have such a player! Is there interest from other European clubs? We don’t know anything about it,” Bodmer said.
On January 7, Kuzyaev scored the winning goal in the 1/32 final of the French Cup, in which Le Havre defeated Caen with a score of 2:1. This goal was the first goal in the French Cup for the Russian midfielder.
On July 12, the Russian signed a contract with the French club until the summer of 2025. Before that, he played for Zenit for six years. On 20 August, Kuzyaev scored his first goal in Ligue 1. In total, Russia played 17 matches in the French championship and scored two goals. Kuzyaev’s last goal in the French Championship was in September 2023. His contract runs until summer 2025.
