Former CSKA goalkeeper coach Vyacheslav Chanov believes that Ilzat Akhmetov will be useful to the red-dark blue team. His words are quoted legal betting.
“This is a football player’s private life, we have no right to interfere there. I think inter-club relations play an important role here.
He had already played for CSKA and suddenly decided to leave the team and move to Krasnodar. It seemed that neither party wanted to return to the old relationship. It is quite possible that Akhmetov will now be useful to CSKA, he is still a quality player,” said Chanov.
On January 9, Zenit announced the transfer of Akhmetov from Krasnodar.
Akhmetov made his debut in the Russian Premier League (RPL) in 2014 as part of Rubin Kazan. He played for the club for four years. Later, the midfielder played for CSKA for four years. In 2018 he and his club won the Russian Super Cup. In 2022 Akhmetov became a Krasnodar player.
The 26-year-old midfielder played in 21 matches in all competitions for Krasnodar this season and scored 3 goals and made 2 assists in these matches.
