Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the Philadelphia Flyers in the regular season match of the National Hockey League (NHL).

The match, which took place at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, ended with the score of 4:1 for the Penguins.

The winners’ goals were scored by Rickard Rakell, Erik Karlsson, Chad Ruhwedel and assisted by Russian forward Evgeni Malkin. That pass helped Rakell score Pittsburgh’s fastest goal of the current National Hockey League season. Philadelphia’s only goal was scored by Owen Tippett, off a pass from Russian defender Yegor Zamula.

Last NHL season, Malkin played in 81 games for the Penguins and recorded 27 goals and 56 assists. He became the second highest scorer of his team. The best was club captain Sidney Crosby, who scored 90 points (33+57).

Pittsburgh has won two of its last three games and the Penguins lost their previous game. Philadelphia fell to defeat after winning its previous game, and the team has lost five of its last six games.
