Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva published a new photo on her social networks.

Medvedeva finished second in the individual championship and team tournament at the 2018 Olympics. The winner in women’s singles was again Russian Alina Zagitova. She was one point ahead of Medvedeva. After the Games, Medvedeva switched from Eteri Tutberidze to Canadian specialist Brian Orser, but returned to Khrustalny two years later.
Besides the Olympic medals, Medvedeva has two gold medals from the World and European Championships. He last competed in December 2019. In April 2023, Medvedeva announced her retirement.

On December 8, the International Olympic Committee allowed athletes from Russia to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games with neutral status. It was initially reported that eight Russians and three Belarusians received licenses for the Games, but on December 13 the IOC press service corrected this data.
