Russian figure skater Evgenia Medvedeva report Okko Sport reacted ironically to Alina Zagitova’s decision to launch her own YouTube show.

“What kind of show can Alina Zagitova do? Probably something to do with inevitability (laughs),” Medvedeva said.

Last summer Zagitova made a funny slip. When asked if he was interested in hockey, the figure skater replied: “Of course it is… inevitable.” The phrase became a meme, and Zagitova herself even launched products with a non-existent word.

At the 2018 Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, Medvedeva finished second with 238.26 points. She lost to Zagitova, who received 239.57 points.

In addition to the gold medal at the Games, Zagitova won gold at the 2019 World Championships and gold and silver medals at the 2018 and 2019 European championships. The skater missed the 2020 and 2021 competitions but has not announced her retirement since then.

Evgenia Medvedeva is a two-time silver medalist at the 2018 Olympic Games, a two-time world champion and two-time European champion. She announced her retirement from the sport in April 2023.

Previously Medvedev accused Tutberidze is lying.
