Italian Atalanta does not have a clear stance on the future of Russian midfielder Alexei Miranchuk and does not know whether to give the player to Torino, which is interested in the midfielder’s services. This was reported by “Euro-Football.Ru”.

According to the source, Atalanta head coach Gian Piero Gasperini believes that the team will need a lot of rotation, given the Coppa Italia and participation in the Europa League in the spring. If Miranchuk leaves the team, the specialist will request the management to change his position.

Miranchuk transferred from Lokomotiv Moscow to Italian Atalanta in September 2020. His contract with the Bergamo club expires in June 2025.

The Russian player failed to gain a place in the main team and was transferred to Turin on loan in the summer of 2022. The midfielder spent a year at the Torino club, scoring four goals in 29 appearances. The Russian player started the new season in Atalanta. Miranchuk played 12 matches with the team in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
