German Bayern football player Julia Gwynne forgot to wear shorts before taking to the field in the tenth round match of the women’s Bundesliga against Nuremberg.
The match took place on December 17. The football player had to enter the game as a substitute in the second half. Listening to the team coach’s final instructions before going onto the field, the girl noticed that there were no shorts under her training equipment. The 24-year-old defender ran to the dressing room and took the field in the 62nd minute.
The meeting ended with a score of 1:1. After ten matches, Bayern sit second in the German championship table with 24 points. Wolfsburg is leading with 25 points.
Gwynn has been playing for the team since 2019. The girl passed through the youth schools of Freiburg and Bayern.
After 16 matches in the Bundesliga, Bayern Munich’s main men’s team is in second place with 38 points. Bayer Leverkusen is at the top under the leadership of Spaniard Xabi Alonso. His team is four points ahead of the Munich team. Stuttgart is in the top three with 34 points.
