“I wanted to stay with them longer, feel like a mother and grandmother and help as much as possible,” Linichuk said.
Linichuk returned to Russia in January 2023.
Linichuk became Olympic champion in 1980 together with Gennady Karponosov. The couple also has two victories at the World and European Championships.
