Two goals allowed the forward to overtake Alexei Yashin and rise to tenth place in points among all Russians in the NHL. Kucherov currently has 783 (298+485) points in 676 matches.
Kucherov’s next target is Sergei Gonchar, who has 811 points. The leader in points among Russians is forward and captain of the Washington Capitals Alexander Ovechkin (1502).
