Florida Panthers defeated the Edmonton Oilers in the regular season match of the National Hockey League (NHL).

The match, which took place at the Rogers Place stadium in Edmonton, Canada, ended with the score of 5:1 for the Panthers.

Winners included Carter Verage, who had a double in the match, and goal scorers Brandon Montour, Alexander Barkov and Sam Bennett. Zach Hyman scored the Oilers’ only goal.

One of the heroes of the last match was Florida’s Russian goalkeeper Sergei Bobrovsky. He converted 38 of 39 shots on his own goal and also took part in one of his team’s scoring attacks – in which he assisted Bennett, who scored Florida’s fourth goal of the game. Russian Panthers defender Dmitry Kulikov did not stand out and could not score in the match.

Florida won after two defeats (both previous matches were lost with a score of 0:4). Edmonton suffered its second straight loss after a streak of eight wins in the regular season.
