Moscow Spartak signed an agreement with Russian Los Angeles Kings forward Mikhail Maltsev. This was reported by press service Continental Hockey League (KHL).
The contract runs until the end of this season. This season, Maltsev played for the Ontario Reign in the American Hockey League (AHL). He scored 14 (4+10) points in 21 games. The Russian player also played for the Colorado Avalanche and New Jersey Devils during his career in the National Hockey League (NHL).
25-year-old striker, St. Petersburg hockey graduate. He played in the KHL between 2017-2019 and in SKA in the 2020/2021 season. He played a total of 52 matches in the league and collected 11 (2+9) points.
The Moscow club collected 56 points in 41 matches and took first place in the KHL Western Conference standings. In the next match on December 19, Spartak will play away against Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod.
