Russian swimmer Anna Egorova posted a photo in pajamas on her Instagram stories (the owner of the company Meta is known as an extremist and is banned in Russia).
The athlete published a collage of four photos in which she posed in short pajamas.
Egorova won three bronze and two silver awards at the European Championships. The swimmer has been competing in the Russian national team since 2017.
At the European Championships in Budapest in May 2021, Egorova won a bronze medal in the 4×200 meter freestyle as part of the mixed relay team. She also won the bronze medal in the 800-meter freestyle with a time of 8:26.56. Anna won the silver medal in the 400 meter freestyle.
At the end of the summer, Egorova expressed the hope that she would be able to participate in the Olympic Games to be held in Paris in 2024.
On December 8, the International Olympic Committee allowed athletes from Russia to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games with neutral status.
The IOC said Russian athletes will be required to sign updated conditions of participation, which include a commitment to respect the Olympic Charter, including the “peaceful mission of the Olympic movement”. Russian athletes who rank well in their own disciplines will be allowed to compete.
Former Olympic champion supported Gymnasts rejecting 2024 Games.
