Russian forward of the Washington Capitals club, Alexander Ovechkin, played the 1372nd game of his career in the regular championship of the National Hockey League (NHL).
On the night of December 11 in the NHL regular season, Washington beat the Chicago Blackhawks with a score of 4:2. The Russian hockey player made an effective pass but could not score. The hockey player has not scored a goal in ten matches.
In terms of the number of matches played, Ovechkin repeated the result of the former famous Finnish defender Teppo Numminen (1372), reaching 49th place in the history of the North American League today.
