Real Madrid’s undefeated record in home matches was broken

Red Star became the first team in the history of club football to go 122 consecutive home games without defeat. This was reported by the press service of the Belgrade club.

On December 9, “Crvena Zvezda” beat the team “Mladost” of the city of Lucani (3:1).

The capital team has not lost in the Serbian championship for 122 consecutive matches. Since April 30, 2017, the team has won 110 times and drawn 12 times. Red Star surpassed the success of Real Madrid, who did not lose at home from 1957 to 1965.

Crvena Zvezda is the 34-time champion of Serbia. In 1991 the team won the European Cup (now called the Champions League).

This season, Red Star has collected 43 points after 17 matches and is the leader in the Serbian Championship standings, ahead of Partizan (43) in additional indicators.

Barak Bahar’s team will play their next match against English Manchester City in the 6th round of the Champions League group stage. The meeting will start on December 13 at 20.45 Moscow time.
