Russian athletes will not be represented at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. In this respect TASS said Sebastian Coe, president of the International Association of Athletics Federations (World Athletics).
“International federations have the primary right to make their own evaluations regarding the selection of athletes. We have a clear position that remains unchanged,” Coe said.
On December 8, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) decided to allow Russians to participate in the Olympics in Paris with neutral status. Russian athletes who rank well in their own disciplines will be allowed to compete.
