Artur Grigoryants, Chairman of the Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (KDK RFU), explained why it was decided to disqualify Spartak Moscow coach Guillermo Abascal for three matches (one with a suspension). “The trial period is one year. The protocol clearly stated that his aggressive behavior was expressed in pushing an opposing player with both hands using excessive force after play had been stopped,” Grigoryants said.
In the middle of the first half of the match against Akhmat Grozny in the 17th round of the Russian Premier League (RPL) (1:2), Abascal, the Spanish coach of the Red and Whites, received a red card for pushing the player.
