Former captain of Spartak Moscow Denis Glushakov in an interview legal betting He stated that Russian coaches should be given more chances to prove themselves in domestic clubs.

Glushakov played for Spartak Moscow from 2013 to 2019. He became the winner of the Russian Premier League (RPL) in the 2016/17 season. On September 20, 2023, Spartak Kostroma, playing in the Second League, announced the transfer of Glushakov. Glushakov spoke positively about the move from Kostroma to the team.
