Spartak Moscow forward Ilya Kovalchuk can earn 30 million rubles before the end of the 2023/24 season. This was reported by “Match TV”.

According to the source, the 40-year-old striker, whose base salary is 15 million rubles, will be able to earn a similar amount of bonus if he scores 20 points with the goal + pass system.

The red-whites are leading the Western Conference standings with 56 points. Kovalchuk played for Spartak from 1999 to 2001. Together with the club, he became the champion of the Major League.

In 2021, he won the Gagarin Cup three times as part of Omsk Avangard and decided to suspend his activities as a player. At the moment, Kovalchuk has not announced his retirement. In the National Hockey League (NHL), Kovalchuk played in Atlanta, New Jersey, Washington and Montreal.
