Moscow Lokomotiv Chairman Yuri Nagornykh expressed his confidence that striker Artem Dzyuba will remain at the club after the 2023/24 season. stated that RIA News.
“I’m sure everything will be fine for Artem and me. He demonstrates an understanding of football that can be taught to our young people. As I have said many times, this is a great master. We are very happy that we will soon leave behind a year of working together. I am sure that we will continue to work together,” said Nagornykh.
Dzyuba played for Adana Demirspor in Turkey between August and November 2022. Afterwards, the striker was left without a team for a while. He signed a contract with Lokomotiv under the 1+1 plan in the spring of 2023.
This season, Dzyuba played 15 matches in the Russian Championship and four matches in the National Cup and scored four goals and three assists. Last season, the striker shared the title of the team’s top scorer with Izidor and Miranchuk, playing for only half of the season.
