Spartak may lose its team leader

Fenerbahce Istanbul will soon send an offer to Spartak Moscow for the transfer of Dutch football player Quincy Promes. The news reports this.

The Turkish club wants to strengthen its position on the left wing in attack. The source of the publication claims that F.Bahçe has received positive signals regarding the transfer of the 31-year-old red-white striker.

Promes has been playing for Spartak since February 2021. He previously played for the red and whites between 2014 and 2018. The Dutch player became the Russian champion with the team in the 2016/17 season.

This season, Promes played in 15 matches in the Russian Premier League (RPL) and scored 5 goals and 6 assists. The Dutch player played four matches in the Russian Cup, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

On 1 December, Sport-Express reported that Promes was close to automatically extending his contract with Spartak by one year. It was noted that the extension option will be activated soon. Promes’ new agreement with the red and whites will be valid until the summer of 2025.
