Former Zenit coach Vlastimil Petrzhela comments “RB Sports” Lokomotiv Moscow’s player Artem Dzyuba and St. St. Petersburg club coach Sergei Semak expressed the opinion that there was no disagreement between them.
“I think there is no conflict between Dziuba and Semak. This Artem is trying to drag Semak into a scandal. But the Zenit coach is smarter and more decent than Dzyuba, he does not care about Artem’s provocations. Zenit did the right thing by not renewing the contract with Dzyuba. “He is weaker than the forwards at the club right now,” Petrzhela said.
After the match between Zenit and Lokomotiv in the 26th round of the 2022/23 season of the Russian Premier League (RPL), Dzyuba passed by Semak without shaking his hand. After this episode, the striker said that he did not see the coach.
