Columbus Blue Jackets defenseman Ivan Provorov evaluated the four goals scored by Russian hockey players against the Boston Bruins in the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season match. His words are quoted press service “Columbus”.
Dmitry Voronkov, Ivan Provorov, Egor Chinakhov and Kirill Marchenko scored the goals for Columbus. For the first time in NHL history, four different Russian hockey players played on the same team and scored a goal in a match. Columbus’ fifth goal was scored by Justin Danforth, who plays in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) for Vityaz near Moscow.
“It’s crazy. We have a big group of Russians in our team. It was nice that everyone contributed to the victory with our goals,” said Provorov.
In the next game, Columbus will play at home against the Montreal Canadiens. The meeting will take place on November 30.
