The National Hockey League (NHL) has announced the list of the main stars of the game day.
The first star was recognized as Russian Tampa Bay Lightning forward Nikita Kucherov, who scored two goals and made four assists in the match against Carolina Harries.
Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck was the second star of the day, stopping all 32 shots against the Florida Panthers. Rounding out the top three were Tampa forward Brayden Point, who had a hat trick and an assist.
The match between Tampa and Carolina ended with the Lightning winning with a score of 8:2. Kucherov scored two goals and made four assists. The Russian forward scored 15 goals and made 20 assists in 20 games played in the NHL this season.
Tampa sits fourth in the NHL Eastern Conference standings with 25 points from 21 games. Carolina earned 22 points in 19 meetings and finished eighth in the same conference.
