“There will be games in Italy in 2026. We can go there as a large delegation because potential participants do not have contracts with the RF Armed Forces,” Sengleyev said.
On February 28, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) appealed to international sports federations, recommending that domestic and Belarusian athletes not be allowed to participate in any competitions. In addition, many competitions in which foreign athletes participated were moved from Russia.
The World Friendship Games are planned to be held in Russia in 2024. It will be held in Moscow and Yekaterinburg between 15-29 September 2024. This is the first multi-sport competition to include performances in all 25 Summer Olympic and non-Olympic sports.
Previously international federations need Up to 500 thousand rubles from Russian athletes.
