Colorado Avalanche defeated Vancouver Canucks with a score of 5:2 in the regular season match of the National Hockey League (NHL).
The winners included Russian Valery Nichushkin, who won the majority, as well as Jonathan Drouin, Riley Tufte, Cale Makar and Mikko Rantanen.
Seçkin Nichushkin extended his goal streak to five consecutive matches. The Russian player played a total of 18 games in the NHL this season and recorded eight goals and eight assists. The forward scored 6+2 points in the last five games. His team is in sixth place in the Western Conference.
Last season, the Russian played in only two NHL play-off games. The club explained his absence as personal reasons. Journalists also wrote that there were some alcohol-related incidents with Nichushkin. The Denver Post later reported that an unidentified girl was found extremely drunk while checking into the hockey player’s room at a hotel in Seattle.
