AMC Fight Nights middleweight champion Vladimir Mineev said he will spend the fee for his victory over Ivan Shtyrkov to purchase drones for SVO’s needs. His words are quoted TASS.
“Part of the fee will go to the Peter Mineev Foundation, and we will help the children of Donbass. The second part of the fee will be used to buy the men in the Northern Military District what they really need. Drones, armored vehicles and other things,” Mineev said.
Mineev won by unanimous decision 30-29, 30-27, 30-27. The fight took place in Sochi.
On November 18, 2022 in Moscow, Vladimir Mineev defeated Brazilian Fernando Rodriguez in a fight according to kickboxing rules. Immediately after this fight, Mineev signed a contract to serve in the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces. He served in the Northern Military District area.
Mineev had his last fight against Magomed Ismailov at the AMC Fight Nights tournament on October 16, 2021. He retained his middleweight belt by knocking out his opponent in the third round.
Shtyrkov had 25 fights in professional mixed martial arts; 22 of them were won, 2 were lost and 1 ended in a draw.
