Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic defeated Spanish representative Carlos Alcaraz with scores of 6:3 and 6:2 in the semi-final match of the ATP Final Championship played in Turin (Italy).
The duration of the meeting was 1 hour 29 minutes. Djokovic served twice, avoiding double serve errors and converting three of eight break points. Alcaraz completed ten aces, committed one service error and failed to capitalize on any of the four opportunities to take his opponent’s serve.
In the final of the tournament, Djokovic will face Italian Jannik Sinner, who defeated Russian Daniil Medvedev in the semi-finals with scores of 6:3, 6:7, 6:1.
Novak Djokovic continues to maintain his first place in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings with 9945 points. Spanish Carlos Alcaraz ranks second with 8455 points.
