“There was an objection from the football player’s lawyer. The trial date has not yet been determined,” said the press service of the Unified Courts of the Krasnodar Territory.
On November 1, the Shot Telegram channel reported that Bugaev was detained with 500 grams of mephedrone. A criminal case was opened against the football player, especially for large-scale drug trafficking. He faces up to 20 years in prison. Bugaev also admitted to working as a drug courier and placing bookmarks near the Kuban Agricultural University.
