NHL insider says he’s been playing terrible all season

Louis Blues’ Russian forward Pavel Buchnevich expressed his dissatisfaction with his performance at the beginning of the National Hockey League (NHL) regular season. His words were quoted by the NHL press service.

“I’ve been very bad all season. The guys are creating opportunities for me, but I can’t take them. I hope at least one goal comes. I have to play better and help the team. I’m not creating anything anymore, I’m not helping the team. Hockey player: “We have to find a way out (of the situation)” said.

The 28-year-old Russian player played in St. Petersburg this season. He played nine games for St. Louis and scored one goal and made two assists in these matches. He was injured in his upper body on October 15.

Last season, Buchnevich scored 67 points (26 goals + 41 assists) in 63 games with a +14 utility rating.

On October 3, The Athletic compiled its top NHL players. The publication divided all hockey players into four groups: “MVP”, “Face of the Franchise”, “All Star Team Level” and “Best Team Level”. Buchnevich fell into the third category.
